We’re so glad to have you! This is your hub for the 2025 CAD Designathon where you can find all relevant information and resources for the duration of your time with us this weekend.
Our event will be happening January 18 to 19, 2025 at Peter George Centre for Living and Learning at McMaster University.
💻 What is the CAD Designathon?
🏡 Housekeeping Items
☑️ Packing List
- Valid Photo ID: (Student ID, Driver’s License, Health Card, etc.) You’ll need this to check in
- Technology: Laptop, charger, mouse, phone charger and any other piece of technology you think you might need to make your Designathon experience productive!
- Hydration: Water bottles, sports drinks, and anything else that keeps you refreshed throughout the 24 hours! We will also have coffee and tea and we encourage you to bring your own mug!
- Toiletries: Toothpaste, toothbrush and any other products you would need to be as comfortable as possible .
- Sleeping Equipment and Clothes: Bring warm clothing, blankets, pillows sleeping bag and mattresses (as there is a limited number of them available in the venue)
🚘 Parking
There are a few options for parking if anybody needs to leave their car at McMaster overnight:

NOTE: Both parking lots are $8.00/day and we are not subsidizing costs.

We are hosting our general help desk on the first floor of PGCLL throughout the entirety of the event. At this help desk we will answer any questions you may have, as well as provide minor first aid & menstrual products for any participants that may need it.
